Welcome

Parsonage Stables are situated in the picturesque village of Henham in North West Essex. The nineteenth century stables have been lovingly restored into four holiday cottages offering modern facilities in a traditional setting.

The stables are in the front yard of our working arable farm which is in the heart of the village, next to the church and almost opposite the pub. The farm has belonged to the Pimblett family since 1902 and is mainly arable, we have conservation grade status and crops grown are wheat, oats, barley and oilseed rape.

Additionally there is a small herd of Dexter cattle, a few chickens and two guinea fowl! Other old farm buildings are now used by Saffron Brewery (www.saffronbrewery.co.uk) brewing beer available at the local pub and the Saffron Ice Cream Company (www.saffronicecream.co.uk).
