Henham – www.henham.org there are several weekly clubs including running, bell-ringing, gardening, tennis, bridge and a fishing lake.
There are several good walks to be enjoyed and a few bridle ways. Well behaved pets are welcome for an extra charge.
In the surrounding area, there is Thaxted with its Guildhall and Music Festival, Saffron Walden Castle, Museum and Fry Art Gallery, the Rhodes Museum in Bishops Stortford, Henry Moore Gallery in Much Hadham (pictured right) and the fabulous Audley End which are all within a 30 minute drive.
